what is he specie name? species is that? please help.....my English is bad but to make myself understand ¿?¡ thank you very much!
Hola Gustavo! La primera pareces un Podocarpus (Madeira de Romero) o talvez un Callistemon (Limpiatubos). Para mi, mas como un Podocarpus.
To the best my knowledge both Podocarpus & Callistemon have alternate (or whorled?) leaf arrangements. This plant is opposite leafed best I can tell.
More whorled than opposite, Chris. I'm sticking by Podocarpus, because what I'm seeing there is very very similar to what we call Rosemary Wood, which is a valuable and endangered timber tree.
Eugenia (Syzygium) seems like this is closer. http://meujardim.synthasite.com/resources/EUGENIA.jpg http://www.floramata.com.br/navegacao/plantas.php http://www.artebonsai.com.br/dup.htm
