I was told that it is very rare and very hard to grow.

I couldn't find the bragging forum so I'm starting one right here.

Last year I killed off two.

There was one left. I moved it to a different location. The thing was a monster within a short time. Well, maybe not a monster but it grew to at least two feet.

I didn't take a photo as my tenant downstairs did. When I get her to send me a copy of the photo I will show you.

In the meantime http://www.flickr.com/photos/momma_you1/3613584770/ That will show you what it looked like.

I am telling you it was beyond belief. The petals were such a vivid skyblue. I made neighbours and friends come look at it.

I can't get over the joy it brought me. Seemed far too short lived though.

Is there any way to make this poppy last longer?
