We have a beautiful hibiscus tree with several varieties of flowers. We cannot leave it outdoors in a pot for the winter. We have no indoor space with light. We would like to put the tree in the basement until spring..How would we store it? Would we feed it? Can we trim it back now and store with your instructions.
    Thanks

I assume you are talking about a tropical hibiscus, most likely the commonly grown Hibiscus rosa-sinensis or Chinese hibiscus. Overwintering in your basement may be possible, but is not recommended for this plant. It does not go dormant in winter.
Here is a link on winter care:

Hopefully if you trim it back a little, you can find a place for it where it will get at least some light.

    Dear Friend

As for as hibiscus is concerned it cannot tolerate frost.

But in your case I can suggest that you can keep your plant indoors under an atleast 40 watts bulb for 6-8 hours per day .

As for as nutrients you can go for liquid organic fertilizers once in 15 days.

    Regards
