My hibiscus is drooping, I've watered it generously & made sure it's feet are dry between waterings. Recently ( within the last 6 weeks) I've been fertilizing it. Am I giving it too much fertilizer? I've had it for about 3 years now & wonder should I repot it?

Usually fertilizer will cause problems like burnt or crispy leaf edges, or discolored leaves; but usually not droopiness. That sounds more like a watering issue.
You say you let the feet dry between waterings, but does that mean you let it sit in a tray of water and wait to rewater until after that tray is used up? You need to completely empty the tray, right after watering, or you could be rotting the roots. Some plants will droop also from not enough water, but overwatering is a much more common problem for houseplants.

thanks for the information, but the pot I had it in drains very well.. no tray left with water in it. It did get a good drink ( a soaking) on Saturday, and it still did not perk up. It has been in the same pot for about 3 years, so Tuesday I repotted it. Hopefully that will help. If you have any other ideas I am open to all the help I can get. thanks
