Is Hibiscus moscheutos hardy in the Vancouver area? If so what kind of conditions does it require? Does it need a lot more light than Hibiscus syriacus, which grows well for me? I'd love to hear from anyone who has tried it.

    Hibiscus Moscheutos: zone 5 (-28C)
    Exposure: full sun
Foliage: deciduous (the entire plant dies back)

I have 2 in my yard that I bought last spring and both survived the strange weather we had last winter; the first came up in the spring and has been flowering nicely, the other started coming up only a couple of weeks ago (this really surprised me because I thought I had lost it but I didn't bother removing the roots so I guess that was a good thing).
One is located where it gets more sun that shade (located not far from my Hibiscus Syriacus 'red heart'), the other gets more shade (this is the one that is coming up now, which could explain why it was slow to emerge).
