Identification: Here's two plants I need help identifying....

Hi all! I'm wondering if anyone knows what these are; the little purple vine I cut today from the doctor's office and no one knew what it was. It has white hairs. The other looks like a mother in law's tongue, but is too short. Any help is greatly appreciated! Tradescantia pallida & Sansevieria trifasciata 'Hahnii'

 

Tradescantia pallida, purple heart.
I think maybe your #2 is in fact a Sansevieria.
