here a couple cool flowers

    any ideas? They seem pretty unique!

    The first picture is of the leaves of the flower in the second picture. I found this next to a road and grows only about 2 inches high.

    The third and fourth pictures are of a plant I found by the road too. Those basal leaves seem distinct.

    The last picture is of a plant in the woods - almost full shade.

    wow thanks, i thought those looked like milkweed flowers but the leaves looked like they were from a different family

    Next to last photo looks like a Pyrola

    good call, i thought those leaves looked familiar..just beaten up quite a bit

    First one looks like something in the Caryophyllaceae

    i cant find anything in the caryophyllaceae family that looks like it. any other ideas?

    I'm tempted to agree with something in the Caryophyllaceae for the first one.

    1. looks like Spergularia sp. (Caryophyllaceae)
