Hi everyone! My friend has this plant growing in the garden, needless to say we're a bit worried... We'd like to know what it is (or definitely isn't) Thanks!
SarahJane, meet MaryJane... It is indeed Cannabis. Can't tell from the photo (not close up enough) to determine whether it's male or female (female would yield the 'buds'), but if the photo was taken recently (ie. in the past couple of weeks) then it is likely a male plant, as females will all be well into bud development by now. Main point of all this being that while both are still illegal (in most places), the male would not yield any sort of harvest.
