Identification: Helvella?

    northern New Mexico, USA
    or maybe Gyromitra. First of these I've encountered. On either side of a downed spruce log. The forest floor here had a lot of leaves and branches. Pecos Wilderness. 10000 ft ASL. All spruce around.

    A photo at mushroomexpert is the closest I can find on the web.

    It is indeed a pretty one.
    Is H. acetabulum correct?
