I want to grow mashrooms in my garden mostly i tried by collecting spors but in vane please sugest me ssuggestion
You need mushroom compost, which is mostly made of horse manure (if you can get horse manure, you can make your own mushroom compost, it just needs to be sterilised to kill off other unwanted fungi, and then add the mushroom spores). Mushrooms are best grown on this in dark sheds (they are not like plants which need sunshine to grow).
Hello Ahmad, Michael is right, growing mushrooms is not like growing plants. They grow on different mediums, many on manure, some on wood or grain - you have to know the requirements of the species you grow. I think you will have to do more reading to find what types of mushrooms grow best in your area. I am not sure what is available in Pakistan. Mushroom growing kits are available, where the initial stage (the mycelial growth - which generally has to be grown in a sterile environment) has been taken care of and you can then grow them on to the fruiting stage. It is also important to recognize the species of mushrooms, especially if you are growing outdoors - you don't want to eat the wrong ones!
