I should have posted earlier on these, but it hasn't frozen yet, so here are my questions...

How do I winterize Cannas and Brugmansia?

Do I keep them in pots, and water them all winter above freezing temperatures, or do I pull out the roots and let them dry like bulbs? Thank you.

store the cannas as bulbs in a cool spot all winter, just clean all the soil of of them adn place them in a bag with some peat moss and they should be fine untill the spring, as for the brugmansia you should bring it in doors and keep in a sunny location all winter treat it like a houseplant then bring it back outside next summer.

Thank you so much! Will be doing that this weekend... Did they say snow on Monday for the Fraser Valley?? I guess all that rain wasn't enough for us... that was craziness.
