I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction in identifying this tree species. It was found growing along a highway here in south Louisiana. The fruit appear to be about the size of a small pear. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Through much persistence I have decided the mystery tree is a Tung-oil Tree, Aleurites fordii (Euphorbiaceae).
