I bought this at a local Farmers Market under the name "Grandpa's Pipe Stem." It is taking over my kitchen window, 6" to 2 feet! I would like to cut it back & propagate some of the cuttings. What is it? How do I propagate?

Tradescantia spathacea has also been suggested. Any thoughts?
