Hi everyone, So I purchased this house plant from a store, and I had asked the man if he carried Salvia divinorum, and this is the plant he pointed out. However, I don't think that's what it is. What do you all think? Any ideas as to what plant I have here? Is it some other type of sage? Thank you in advance.
Thank you so much, Junglekeeper! Pachira aquatica it is! I've verified that with several pictures of it, and have looked up its care and maintanence. Well, I suppose, in retrospect, the fellow was not quite on the up-and-up. I think I'll pass on that swampland in Florida he tried to sell me. Housing development opportunity, my foot! Additionally, I now begin to doubt his claims that he has seen Elvis alive and well...I'm so disappointed. (Just kidding!!! The joke's on me for not doing my research beforehand and knowing full-well what the plant ought to look like.) Thanks for your help! Mr. Moneytree is thriving in his partial sunlight and sparse waterings. It really is a beautiful tree, and I'm happy with it all the same. Thanks again!
