Does anyone have any recommendations about the effectiveness of ultrasonic devices on raccoons? I recently bought a scarecrow motion detector/ water sprinkler but am now just providing a shower before they bathe in my pond. Does anyone know where in Vancouver one can purchase an ultrasonic repeller with motion detection? thanks

In the meantime, avoid their poops as they may contain worms that travel to the brain when infesting humans.
Do you have a lot of them? I have some all year round. I just chase them away. They will run away really fast. Some will try to get into your attic and raise a family there. In B.C. Canada, I know some people called pest control agency and got rid of them.
