A friend in Kelowna has these two plants in her garden, and unfortunately she couldn't give me the names. From what I've googled, the first two may be Persicaria Affinis "Dimity" or Donald Lowndes; it is definitely a ground cover, quite low growing, and the second is maybe Heuchera???? Help much appreciated!!!

After going to 3 different garden centres, have established that the first 2 pics are of Persicaria "Affinis", but if anyone can help with the other plant, would be much appreciated...it is so pretty and I would love some in my garden. Garden centres not been able to identify it!!
