i got my Pachira a while ago and it is starting to form new leaves but the new leaves are glossy(shinny) and light green and the older ones are dark green and look more like mat(flat). Also the tips are stating to brown and some middle areas in small spots of brown, there are some small brown dots on the underside of the leaf please help!

    Christian,

the new leaves being light green and glossy if perfectly normal, thats what they are supposed to look like. if the tips are browning it means it needs more water and humidity. spots forming in the middle of leaves could be small holes, or some rust disease.

you can remove the damaged leaves and then spray the other leaves with a fungicide.
