This Palm is 33 years old. It was given to my Mother when I was born, and we had it my whole life... my mother passed away a few years ago and it is special to me... my Dad just gave it to me and I want to keep it healthy.
It has been thru some hard times. It was left in a house alone while it was on the market... so, watered on occasion but not very well taken care of... It is very Leggy and has some browning in some fronds which I cut off. It does have a new spear of fronds coming in and a seed/ flower... it is fighting to be healthy.
Could I cut the stem and re-pot it some how? is the pot too large?
Thanks in advance for you advice. Kate
