Last year I germinated a few lemon seeds of a variety of lemon which grows in Peru (a small lemon high in acidity). My plants have survived the winter indoors and all of these plants(7 total) except for one are straight, no branches, the one exception branched when it was young. Should I cut back my straight plants so that they start branching out or what?

The general practice is to top the tree once it reaches 2 ft, but if you want a tree that is more like a bush, you can top it sooner.
