Well, first off I wish I had taken some pictures of these, but it's too late for that. Secondly, I'm not even sure if I should be posting this here or an insect forum, but here we go.

My mother came down to visit for Christmas and as I was setting up her air mattress I found what looked to be a green pellet on the ground. After closer inspection I noticed it was tightly rolled leaves. It was about the length of a large pill, all green, very tightly rolled leaves in almost a perfect cylindrical shape. I picked it up, looked at it some more, and squeezed it between my fingers. It instantly disintegrated and in the middle was a harder black ball of sorts. Not thinking much of it I threw it out. I looked around a little more and found a few others exactly the same as the first. Again, I squeezed one and it disintegrated leaving me with this black ball, this time I felt this ball a little and noticed it was squishy. I tossed these out too.

Again, I go back tonight after I got to thinking what they could be and again found two more tucked away under a chair. This time I dug a little further. I took the black ball and pierced it with a pin. Reasoning behind this was that this ball reminded me of a spider egg sack you sometimes find, although this was more rubbery in texture. I pushed on it and orange puss (for lack of a better word.) oozed out. Being rather freaked out, I threw these away too, tied up the trash bag, and took it out.

They were all found in the same room, which is hardly ever used. It's basically a guest and storage room.

I looked around Google a little for what this could be and the closest thing I could find were leaf rolling caterpillars. Those I've seen before, this was much different. I think I've described them as best I can, they were just very strange.

I plan to look around later when it's not so late, and since I've found about 6 or 7 of these now if I can find another I'll be sure to post pictures.

Any help on identification is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

Not really in the mandate of these forums. My recommendation is to try out the forums on http://www.bugguide.net/

    Closing thread.
