Hello Everyone, So, I love hostas. The main reason for this adoration is the fact that once you put them in the ground they pretty well take care of themselves. Plus, there are so many varieties. Hey speaking of varieties, I was hoping someone might be able to help me identify these two types. The hosta in the first two photos is a very typical, very abundant, green and white variegated. It gets large and grows quickly. Its flowers are a light purple. The second hosta is relatively small, although I don't know if this is because that's a characteristic of this plant or if it's because he is currently (and has been for at least 1-2 years) living in a pot. I believe it also has purple flowers. Thanks!
After 2 years I don't think it can be Sum & Substance at all. S & S gets soooo large, even in a pot, for me! Also, S & S doesn't have such pointy leaf ends, and is usually yellower.
