    Hello all,

I have a section of my photo website dedicated to nature shots, including plants. I try my best to provide identification, but sometimes I just don't know what I've shot... So if you experts can correct my mistakes, I'd be very grateful...

Recently I added these "pink flowers" (now that's a precise label, I know) : http://sophie-g.net/photo/nature/fleursRoses01.htm

Generally, the plant and flowers photos are here :

Some very nice photographs on your site. I really like the snow images.

the first one blue flowers is a ceanothus or california lilac native to california but in the buckthorn family the rhamnaceae not the lilacs

the second is a saxifraga of some sort I think

The "Saxifraga" is a Sedum; Sedum anglicum is a possibility, but you should check a local flora.

The cactus flower pic is of a Haworthia (not a cactus, but yes, a succulent). I would need to see a closer pic of the plant to get you closer to an proper ID on it.

Yes, the Roses03 pic is of Sedum...maybe 2 plants...one with white flowers, one with pink. Closer foliage pic would help pin it down.

By the way, I didn't think of it when I first read your message, but if you happen to find a photo in my site that you'd need, they are available under a Creative Commons license and I can provide better resolutions than those on the site.
