In the past few years, I have started growing some hot chilly peppers indoors and they do very well. Unfortunately they get attacked by Aphids and the pest thrives indoors because there is no predator (except me)
I tried the traditional 1/2 tsf of dish soap + vegetable oil in water bottle and sprayed it. Yes, it did kill them but a few always survived the onslaught and they were back in force within a week..... Unbelievable....
Also, the leaves were left with a shiny coating of oil and they slowly wilted and dropped off. The most tender leaves at the tips of the plants got burnt off completely...
The plants lived, sort of, but the pest is still there.
    Any ideas ???
Thanks a lot for all the advice
