Identification: Help! What kind of plant is this?

    We has this plant potted for our wedding and, when we bought it, we were told it is a jade plant. However, looking at photos, I'm pretty sure it's not... It has a woody trunk and spiky, waxy leaves. We have two cats, so I'm needing to ID this plant to see if it might be poisonous. Thanks for your help out!

    You're right--looks like polyscias fruticosa
