help to identify this large leafed plant

I've never posted before, but can't find another way to identify this plant. I need a place where a description rather than name can be entered for a search.
I have a picture. I hope I've uploaded it successfully.
Can anybody help?

Thanks for the information. I went to try to see a picture of it, but the UBC search plant collections didn't show any results. I'll try elsewhere.

 

You could google plume poppy or search Macleaya cordata in the UBC plant collections
