    Hello,

I've been told this is a conifer - but wonder if its perhaps a thuja?

    Can anyone identify what variety?

It's currently 3 metres tall - I'm keen to get an idea of how tall / wide it will grow (and how quickly), so I can plant it in a permanent place.

    Thanks!

I agree with Ron, a close up of the foliage would be nice.
I was about to say yes looks like it then I noticed your down under.

Could then easily be a Cupressus, but..................

Something in the cypress family Cupressaceae; need a better pic to tell.

BTW, Thuja (like everything in the cypress family) is a conifer.
