I was weeding my flower bed and notice sometime ago this little guy growing. I'm pretty sure that it is not a weed. It seems to be some sort of vine as it is not growing up but out and long. I can't find anything closely resembling the leaves. Any help would be appreciated as I would like to know how to care for it and if I am right that it is a vine it will need to be moved.

Thank you for your help I guess I was incorrect and it was not a vine after all although that is the way it is growing right now. Upon reading further about this tree it is recommended that I actually remove it as it can cause more damage to other plants as well as cause suckers to grow from seeds dropped.

Agree, Triadica sebifera. An invasive thug. Definitely time for a 'search and destroy' mission.
