Help to identify large shrub / small tree with mauve flowers

    I not sure where I got this plant. It has grown to over 2 metres (6 feet). It has mauve flowers and just recently small round fruit have appeared. Note it is Spring in Australia.
    Can anyone identify it for me??

    Looks like Solanum mauritianum...
