I'm fairly new to the plant world but completly hooked. A friend of mine gave me five plants without telling me anything about them. I desperatly need help with names, care needs, or if their indoor or outdoor plants. The 1st is a hanging plant with little yellow flowers, bushes out approx. 20 in vines 14 in. long. 2nd bushes out 14 in with little purple flowers. 3rd I believe is a wavey petunia. 4th is about 18 in tall and fans out 18 in. and the 5th bushes out about 14 in. It looks like it had little flowers also. From what I've been reading most here are very knowledable and I sure could use some of that knowledge. Thank you

Hello Fitob, number two is torrenia. Not so sure about #3, the flowers would be unusual for a petunia. #4 is probably an iris or in the iris family.

Eric, Thank you so much for your answer. I'm looking up Torrenia right away. A neighbor told me she thought #4 is called a bearded iris. What names plants have, I love it. Thank you again.

The first one looks to be maybe portulaca? In Oklahoma.. indoors? I know in Seattle area portulaca outdoors dies in winter. At least, mine did ... all 3 times I tried.
