Help to id this delicate flower

This 4 1/2 ft plant comes back each year to bloom in mid July.
The flowers open from little spheres to 5 petals with yellow center.
I'd love to know about it.

It's a thalictrum, T. delavayi or T. rochebrunianum or similar.
