Help to ID 2 plants

I need to identify two plants, the blue one is first time I see in my garden. The second plant (2 pictures) seems to be of the mint family, but what specific plant is it?

#2 looks like Nepeta cataria

 

First one seems to be some type of Platycodon, possibly grandiflorus.

 

Thanks. I think I will remove the catnip: it takes too much room and is not very attractive.
