I'm completely a newbie to taking care of plants, especially this tree. However, my girlfriend bought it for me. I'm willing to do whatever it may take to save it, if possible. It's a dwarf bonsai jade tree, bought in February of 2012. It was fine as can be for the first months up until about a week and a half ago, maybe two weeks ago. It started losing a lot of leaves. The leaves are not as hearty anymore, they're lighter and squishy. I've researched a little and fear root rot. Some of the branches are very, very squishy. The bottom end of the trunk is also squishy. Is there anyway to save it? I can post pictures if needed! I appreciate any help!
