I'm searching Marah Horridus, but I can't find a website that sells the seeds. Someone can help me? I can exchange seeds native of my zone, that is Liguria, in Italy, with the seeds of this Marah, or if you prefer I can pay them, if the price is fair! Please help me, answer to this post, I can't find this plant in any other way!
Have you tried the nurseries listed in the California Native Plant Link Exchange? http://www.cnplx.info/nplx/nplx?page=sourceList. I would be very careful of introducing this plant to Italy unless you are sure it won't be invasive. I've seen places in Washington state where it was really covering a large area, over shrubs and way up into trees.

I read that Marah is a plant that grows in a zone usda 8a, here I live in a zone 7a, probably I'll have to help it survive the winter, I don't think it can become invasive in a unfavorable climate as mine is. But if you know that it can become invasive as well, let me know it. You know when I have to plant seeds?
