I work for an 82 year old who prune his fig tree to the bare min. last year. now this year it has yet to produce any figs. did he prune to much n how do u properly prune a fig tree so that u will get fruit the next time around?
I don't know correct method for pruning but I have hacked (pruned) mine back severly and it does well 2nd year. I suspect it will establish growth in first year after pruning then it will be off again. http://www.paradisenursery.com/prunfigtrees.html Liz
