Hi There, I am new here.... My Dad has this lovely plant that came as a 'surprise' with another plant he had purchased. It has grown large and we have no idea what it is. If anyone can identify this plant, we would be most appreciative. Thank you! DM
I am not an expert at plant ID but when I saw your photo I thought it looked like a shoo-fly plant. Have never seen a real one in the garden, just know it from catalogs. Check out this link to a photo and description of Nicandra physalodes to see how it compares to your surprise plant. It's a nice plant. Beautiful foliage and nice little flowers. If my ID is correct note that the plant is poisonous.
