I am posting this for a friend who isn't sure what type of plant this is. I did a search for philodendron (heart-shaped), since that's what I thought it was, but all I came up with are climbing vine versions. None of the ones I saw had similar stems as hers, nor leaves as large. They were all quite small. I have attached a photo, if anyone can help identify it for her she would be so grateful. She also wanted to know if it is a flowering plant. I know only enough to be wrong when it comes to plants, lol. :) Thanks for reading.
I tend to agree. You have a spadix (flower) about to emerge in the top left of the photo, I'd like to see a pic of that when it emerges : ) Ed
