    Hello! I am new here.

I have this plant in my porch which my grandfather gave me. The plant is really funky so we never payed much attention to it, but we kept it b/c my g.f. gave it to me. Also, the planted never did anything. On father's day my mother brought him to the house (he was very ill) so we can spend time with him since he was at a home all the time. The weird thing is that, that day the plant had a FLOWER on it. It was beautiful. That day that was the only thing he noticed & said, "wow that piece of crap plant is still alive?".

ANYWAYS, My grandfather passed away 5 days later & now it's dead. I have a picture of it & I was wondering if anyone COULD please!!! tell me what is this plant called. THANK YOU in advance.
