Identification: help on finding name !!!

    Possibly Lepiota rachodes. Do an internet search on this and compare the characteristics and habitat of your mushroom with this species.

    Even if it is indeed this species, which is accepted as edible, "Mushrooms Demystified" warns that people can have severe allergic reactions to it.
