I need help to identify my palm tree, I bought it quite a long time ago from balchik`s botanical garden.Anyway long story short, it is in quite a bad shape lately and I need to identify it so I can take proper care ( at last ) of it. I am attaching 2pic of it. I hope they will be helpful and I will really appreciate any help given.
Your Trachycarpus fortunei (or Chamaerops humilis if those are spines I see on the petiole) is severely light deprived. DO NOT move it directly to a sunny location as it will very likely sunburn. Adaptation to a higher light location will take several moves over the course of a summer.
Thank you very much for the information. It indeed is in a shady location (due to lack of any suitable place).Anyway i will try to make some positive changes.Thank you again for the identification and the advice.
