I own DanWalt Gardens in Montana and each year we have posted an April Fools prank on our FB page and it's been fun to watch our followers either fall for it or call us out for it. One year we Photoshopped a coconut tree into our garden and let everyone know that the trees made it through the Winter well and would start producing in weeks.
I confess I'm all out of ideas. Can anyone help with a mass April Fools prank for our followers?
I was thinking of some new exotic hybrid plant that we might be "developing".

How about a new blue-eyed grass that attracts pollinators by winking at them.

Here it is - DanWalt Gardens
Now on to next year. Any ideas?
I think maybe an interesting hybrid flower/tree of some kind. A ponderosa pine lily? Or two flowers? Chrysanthalily? Maybe a rose bush with apples? I like the ones that are somewhat believable.

    I know!

I checked their Facebook but couldn’t see any foolishness (then again I don’t look at Facebook often so I might not have used it correctly )

I forgot to mention that a few years ago we had a lily grow up through a nice Chrysanthemum and I told people we had developed it and called it a Chrysanthelily. Literally everyone believed me and wanted to know how to get one.

Well done on those flamingasaures’s — from when our part of the planet was tropical (today’s birds are modern dinosaurs aren’t they?)

i hope you post more on this forum from your lovely state

There is a virtual garden tour 2022 thread you might like to be part of.

And there are wild plant forums etc.

i looked at your website — very pretty setting
I have never been to Billings tho I know White Fish & Kalispell (it’s close to BC border)
