We got about two feet of snow here a few weeks ago which bent over the 20' Cedar tree in the front yard. Now it is practically lying down (at about a 30 degree angle to the ground) rather than standing up :( The snow is gone, it's gotten up to 50 degrees with sunshine here, but the Cedar hasn't made any progress back towards the sky :( What can I do? Thanks for any advice ...

?? Maybe share photos or more information. Is this a redcedar, or a real cedar like Cedrus, or other?

Did the roots move? Or did only the trunk bend? How thick is the stem near the base? Any cracks?

Maybe Juniperus virginiana. What do the roots look like? If it is rootbound - a common problem in this age of careless container culture - it may not be possible to recover the tree.
