I'm trying to save my struggling plant, but have to know what it is in order to find the proper way to care for him. When I first brought him home his leaves were much larger than they are now (probably 1-1/2 ft. long or so), but hopefully the picture I've provided is enough to go on. I'm most desperately trying to identify him, but if you have proper care tips as well it would eliminate a step for me. Thanks
I am not an expert but it appears to be an unhappy canna lily, does it have a rizome root? If it is it should have some full sun and be kept in a moist well draining soil. Good luck Bruce
I think it's a Spathiphyllum – Peace Lily. http://waterroots.com/imagesplants/006.jpg Note the thickened petioles. HTH Chris
I don't know Chris, when you put the 2 photos together there seems to be some difference in the leaves....what do you guys think? Ed
