Hello I have just purchased a new home with a nice big yard. I am very new to gardening but cannot wait to get started. We have a long retaining wall that is currently planted with some quince evergreen bushes and 7 cedars in between. I would like to plant a approx. 7 ft katsura tree in the corner and replace the cedars with some other evergreen bush/ tree. I like green and lush looking plants. I will plant colorful ground cover in the front that hangs down the front of the wall. Can anyone recommend interesting and low maintenance evergreen plants for the wall? Thank you
