hi, id really appreciate some help identifying a plant for my mother-in-law. It looks very much like a cordyline although we cant be sure, she has had it for five years and it has flowered for the first time two months ago, its is a spectacular looking thing with a huge cluster of yellow flowers shooting out the top they look like upside down tulips, sorry for the description but im not much of a gardener! it has drawn a lot of attention from passers by who have al commented they havent seen anything quite like it, the leaves are dark green and stiff and its stemless. please could someone help im wasting away searching the internet as i dont know where to start!!
