Welcome to the forums Kboomg. I am sure Daniel will be right but often we need more clues than just a leaf. It is really hard to be accurate with an id with a solitary leaf ..without any scale to show the size. Leaves can vary a lot. A pic to show the whole tree/plant. Pic to clearly show any flowers/berries A pic of a twig to show whether the leaves are opposite or alternate...would be really helpful.
The conspicuous, forward-pointing veins and associated leaf outline make me think Holodiscus instead.
Ah, Holodiscus is more likely. Guess I limited my mental search to trees, which one would not typically associate with this genus.
Thank you all for the reply's. I think you are all right and the Holodiscus is very close. It is a vine and I will know next year what the flowers look like to be more positive. Thank you all very much for your knowledge and help.
