Please help me identify this plant. It is taking over my yard! If anyone has any suggestions on how to stop it, I'm more than willing to take them.

    Thanks so Much!

Lamium purpureum. Hoe or pull. Mulch afterward with wood chips.

Alright, I give up. Why mulch afterward with woodchips?

I'm guessing, by the way, that you'll have to keep hoeing and pulling for a bit before it gives up. Or is that the yellow Lamium?

The mulch is to smother any that try to re-grow from bits of root left in the soil.
