I have this plant that comes up every May and dies back to the ground every October. It gets larger every year and after the second year, it starts to throw off baby plants from the roots. Small bulbs develop off the root system and new shoots come from each one of those. When it comes out in May, it comes out of the ground in a cone shape and grows taller until it begins to unfold.
I would love to know what this is called so I can research it on the web. I have more of these than I know what to do with now.

One of the Amorphophallus species, or possibly a related genus. Certainly looks just like an Amorphophallus.

If you could come close to the species of that Genus I would really appreciate it..I don't know where to start since it doesn't look like the rest of the amorphophallus'
