On a recent visit to Florida, my Aunt asked if I could help her identify a plant she bought recently at a local shop. It was a one-of-a-kind, no identification tag, and the salesperson on duty did not know the name of it, or anything about care of the plant. It has kind of waxy stems and leaves, and the red flowers bloom from a conical red protrusion. If the file attachment does not work, I also have a photo of it posted on my web site at: http://www.bitler.org/plants/mysteryflower.jpg If I could find the answer for her, she would simply love me ! Thanks, Glenn
