I need help to identify a plant, and google showed me your forum!
This plant has overwhelmed my garden. Whenever I destroy one, several others pop up in every corner of the garden.

As you can see in the images, it is a bush-like plant with white-purple flowers, and berry-like fruit. I included a ruler (numbers are cm) in the images to help you. The bush height is in the 60-75cm range and if left to grow much, it develops a surprisingly hard wooden trunk and roots.

wow, that was quick! thank you silver surfer!
Yes, the plant seems to be the one you point out. Images in google are identical to what I am seeing here...

I did a quick search and found that it is a hard-to-eradicate pest...
I'll try to remove them all (roots too) and see how it goes..

If someone knows some tip to help me get rid of this, he/she is welcome!

Fire? hahaha... I thought of this too but with 35-40C and 40-50km/h winds this time in Greece, I'd rather not attempt it or I'll set the whole neighborhood on fire...

Glyphosate should be effective if there are too many to dig out by hand.
