I picked up this hanging plant today at a discount health food store - they didnt have any information about it and it is in rough shape, so Im tyring to find out what type of plant it is and what it needs. If anyone could help me at all it would be great. I'm a little inexperienced with plants, but this one needed a little help from someone.

    Wandering Jew Plant (Tradescantia zebrina)

This plant prefers medium light, or partial sunlight and moderately dry soil.
Cuttings are very easy to root.

I would also repot that monster ...lol.. it might be kinda dificult with it being so big ... get a friend to help . and dont worry about any vines breaking .. just strip the last 2 to 3 leaves off and stick it in water .. you can start a new plant ... they are so easy to root ..

Now THAT's a healthy looking Tradescantia. Never had luck with them myself. How much did you pay, if you don't mind?
